Maggie Featherstone is a designer of words and images in relation to the erotic, spiritual, and ephemeral. A self-taught artist, she is primarily drawn to oil, watercolor, and pastels. Her paintings have been commissioned by New York celebrity clients and local institutions alike. She writes predominantly about the mundane psychopathy of life in New York, the tender terror of caring too much, and queer love in the wake of leaving a high-control religious group. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and their rabbit, Henri.
